The spots listed here are proven
walleye holding areas that I’ve had success in fishing both
during the day and
at night for years. Most of them are within 1 mile downstream from where
the
Saginaw River Intersects with two other main rivers, the Shiawassee and the Tittabawassee.
These rivers themselves have good fisheries that I’ve both fished
and chartered on for years, and
have many other smaller rivers that in turn flow
into them. The total drainage that pours
into these systems, and in turn into
the Saginaw is vast. All of it then flows into the Saginaw Bay.
I will explain each spot in detail, the methods, and best times I’ve had the best luck fishing
each spot.
