This zone of rock shoals is appropriately named, Shoal City.  You’ll get several coordinates with this report but you can build your own list with a little time on this Canadian, South Shore spot.  4 lb. smallies are not uncommon and in 2007, we picked one off that was a hair short of 5 lbs.  You’ll have to work through some average fish to get the better fish, so plan on giving the area some time.  This is not a spot you want to be on in high north winds, or north winds a day or two before you plan to fish it.
