Tom Gatzke, of Wausau WI, has been fishing walleye tournaments since 1998 when he was an engineering student at Michigan Technological University.  He graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a M.S. in Civil Engineering with a surface water quality emphasis in 2000.  Tom’s strength lies in the
technical side of the physical properties of lakes and rivers, and he uses his education to help him figure out how walleyes relate to their environment.

Captain Dan Manyen, of Essexville, MI, is a lifetime resident of the Saginaw Bay area.  He grew up hunting and fishing it's shorelines, cuts and rivers.  He's been guiding and chartering for 20 years in Michigan's many Lakes and rivers, including Saginaw Bay.  He runs charters all 4 seasons of the year, and has 2 boats, specializing on walleye.

Scott Hansen, of Rhinelander, WI, has been fishing musky for the past 32 years.  There are a lot of guys that will take you out in the boat and throw baits around, but few that will put you on fish like Scott will. 

 

Scott broke into the sport at age 12 when he netted a 53 1/2 inch

43 1/2 pound giant.  He was hooked!

 

He's fished in 27 tournaments and finished with an amazing 23 top-3 performances!  That's impressive!  The pinnacle of these being one of the 2004 Salmo Hodag Musky Challenge Champions.

TEAM GENGALO, is how they're known on the Gander Mountain Grand National Walleye Cup Trail.  We know them as Mike Sr., and Mike Gengalo.  The father and son duo were the 2005 Team of the Year in that trail series, outdistancing the next team by a l...o...n...g ways.

Lee Bastian, of Rhinelander, WI, has been a guide for more than 25 years in the Northwoods area.  He is a talented and passionate multi-species angler.  Lee has been able to amass 8 musky tournament victories in the last couple of years, and in 2004 was part of the winning Salmo Hodag Musky Challenge team, the Super Bowl of Northern Wisconsin Musky tournaments.
